I am Stormy Hannah. The new owner of Southern Jewlz!
I was born and raised in a small East Texas town-near Lufkin,TX. I learned the value of hard work and dedication from my Grandparents who raised me. Growing up my days started before the sun was up tending to show animals and ended the same way after I got home from sports practices and everything else a small 2A school had to offer. My grandparents had many trades and business throughout their life. One of my favorites was going to trade show to sell the arts and crafts my grandpa would make and my grandmother would paint. That is where my passion for wanting my own business and helping others find things that made them happy started.
Shortly after graduation of High School I meet my Husband Chase. He was a single dad to a tiny three- month old baby girl. Kylar who is now seven and is the funniest, smart witted, sassy girl you will ever meet! She doesn’t meet a stranger and will tell you anything you want to hear. She taught me a lot at a young age about slowing down and enjoying the moment. Chase and I would then adopt my brother our first year of being a married couple. Having a young child and a teenager during our first year of marriage wasn’t always easy but it was so worth it. In our second year of marriage we would add our daughter to the mix. Brystol is now two and walks to her own beat. She reminds me it's okay to do things different than other people and to be present in the moment. She keeps us on our toes to say the least. Chase and I just celebrated our Fourth year of marriage and he is my biggest fan behind me. He has believed in my dream of having a boutique even when I didn’t think we would ever get there. He doesn’t have much free time between working at the local air condition business him and his dad run but when he does have time he spends it helping me build something for the business.
I have been a fan or Randa’s for as far back as I could remember.I have stalked the SJ website since I was a senior in High School. On New Year’s Eve in 2010 I went to the store in College Station for the first time. I instantly felt a connection. The girls working truly treated me as a queen and wanted to help me find something to wear that I loved. It was like no other experience that I had ever had before while shopping. I have always kept that experience in my mind day in and day out as I tried to model the same for my customers. I have worked in retail management for the past seven years. I have meet numerous customers who are now family member and my dearest of friends by working in the corporate retail world. I am honored to carry on the SJ legacy that Randa has created! I am so excited to start to know every single one of you who shop with us online or just visit the website. Do not fear Randa is not going away completely. She will still be a influencer for the brand and is showing me the ins and out of running this online community she has built over the years. Let me just saw the sweet, caring, hard working Randa you see online is the same Randa you meet in person. She is truly a remarkable person.
