Hey Y'all!  It's definitely a busy Monday here at Southern Jewlz Boutique!  I'm gearing up to go travel to market later this week and then to my first ever out of town SEC football game!  Grant and I will be going to the Ole Miss game this weekend. I am overwhelmed by the amount of love and support shown to this business not only over the past 5 years (and even before that when I didn't have a storefront), but especially this past Thursday as we celebrated 5 years of the doors to Southern Jewlz boutique being opened!  Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped make the growth of this business possible!  Owning and running a retail business is truly a 24/7 job.  Even as overwhelming and demanding as it can be at some times, I truly love this fabulous business that has been built!  And the life lessons I have learned along the way have definitely made me a better person in so many ways. I wanted to share pictures from the event with everyone! half store outside The front windows were decorated with our official #SJTurns5 Long Sleeve T-shirts and balloons to help celebrate the day! store outside Southern Jewlz now occupies BOTH 901 Suite A and B on Harvey Road in College Station, TX. 1st day of flowers We received so many thoughtful gifts.  From left on the picture above are flowers from Chance Okonski owner of Kie Men's Shoppe across the street from SJ, pink chocolate covered strawberries from Brooklyn Dendle who is an avid SJ customer and worked one of the Las Vegas booths last year at NFR, and flowers on the right are from Morgan Carver owner of Blue Willow Boutique in Canyon, TX.  Blue Willow is a fabulous boutique and Morgan carries lots of SJ designs in her store! Randa and Cheryl Don't mind me without my makeup on in this picture, but Cheryl and I had to have a picture before the day got crazy.  Cheryl is the office manager and book keeper here at SJ and helps so much to keep us all accounted for on the back side of the business!  I am very thankful for her as well as every single team member that works for the company.  We al matched for the day wearing our event t-shirts! Randa and Grandparents First to the party were my grandparents!  They showed up an hour early while preparation work was still being done and had to leave for doctors appointments before the day got started, but this is a picture I will cherish forever! goody bags We gave away goody bags valued at $50 or more to the customers who spent more than $100! group of flowers We continued to receive more flowers throughout the party!  Thank you to Maurey Bell Real Estate, Twinz Co. Marketing and my wonderful boyfriend Grant for adding to our flower collection :) sign from Dusty Diamonds As well as Macey with Dusty Diamonds Boutique over in Huntsville for sending us more cupcakes for the day. wreath from Kristin The cutest burlap wreath with a little pink SJ cupcake from Kristin with Artistic Craft Studio. unicorn tape dispenser A unicorn tape dispenser with rainbow tape!  The cutest gift from Katie Ruffino with the Cherry Ruffino Real Estate Team! strawberries from Booklyn Still not over the pink chocolate covered strawberries.  I had never seen pink ones before! half team inside Not all the team members were able to be at the store at the same time, so we had to take multiple pics to get everyone featured.  Here is Cheryl, Chanler, Stephanie, Cassidy and Myself!  The 3 of Cassidy, Chanler and Stephanie are what we call the veteran SJ sales team and they also help design all of our SJ shirts! lina in blazer I had to take a picture of Lina of Twinz Co. Marketing because she looked so fabulous in everything she tried on!  This cropped maroon suede blazer was PERFECT for her upcoming trip as well to the Ole Miss game this weekend.  We missed seeing Tina (her twin) as she was in Albuquerque, NM for an American Business Women Association conference. front window mannequins Our event T-shirts were a hit.  We sold out before the end of the day! store outside with maverick truck Maverick 100.9 showed up at 3pm to remote live via the radio station.  They also ran radio advertisement commercials all week leading up to the event as well as featured a live interview with me a few mornings before! half team silly More team member pictures in our photo booth! parents Even my parents made it into town and stopped by to visit before closing time. hammer 2 Possibly one of my favorite treasures from the day was this custom engraved Hammer from one of my dearest friends, James Dunlin.  On one side it says "Here's to Building Up Your Dream Every Day Step-By-Step" and on the other side reads "Southern Jewlz Boutique 5 Year Anniversary October 2015" So thank YOU for helping the Southern Jewlz company to reach such a big milestone in being storefront now for 5 years!  You business and support truly means the world to me!  Here's to many more in the future! xoxo Randa   cupcakes flowers from chance
