Hey there fans & followers! We have been some productive busy-bee's here at the SJ headquarters!  Between Aggie Game Day craziness, lots of new Fall Arrivals, our Fall Photo Shoot in Fort Worth, launching Soldsie through our Instagram account and working on a new website design to launch - let's just say there has been a lot going on! I wanted to update y'all on some sales we have coming up as well as a new advertisement venture we have jumped into: Yesterday we ran an online SALE for an additional 50% off all the SALE items on our website and today we are getting everything ready for a big Boutique SALE tomorrow & Saturday.  We will have LOTS of items moved to the SALE racks which will all be an ADDITIONAL 50% Off!  We will be OPEN Friday & Saturday 11am-7pm.  Be sure to stop by the Boutique to take advantage of some great DEALS! photo-28 And since we are OFFICIALLY in the month of October, we will be continuing what we have done in the past to give our part towards helping to find a cure - Fashion for a Cause.  Last year we donated over $500 to the Susan Komen foundation and only donated a portion of our sales from 1 day, but this year we are going to donate 10% of our TOTAL Sales (Online & Boutique combined) from Sunday-Monday October 5-6.  (2 Days instead of Just 1!)  And ALL online orders placed on these days will receive FREE SHIPPING!  So, if you've had your eye on something for a while or absolutely LOVE our NEW arrivals, purchasing with us on Sunday (Online Only) or Monday (Both Online & Boutique) would be a great time to shop Southern Jewlz & spend money for a good cause.  Together we can help find a CURE! photo-30 Andddd, if you're a local to Bryan/College Station this part of the blog will pertain specifically to YOU! We have teamed up with the new Country Radio Station - Maverick 102.7 to do a #WatchaWearinWednesday every week!  The Fabulous Mel Hering will be coming to the Boutique every Monday to pick out an outfit from us for an upcoming event for that week.  Then on Tuesday we will together get her pictured in her SJ outfit and she will feature us on her Maverick 102.7 blog and talk live on Wednesday morning all about her experience, the new items she loves in the boutique as well as upcoming events going on within the company! Since we sell concert tickets for all the events at Hurricane Harry's and with Granger Smith (An Aggie!) playing tomorrow night, I dressed Mel in some different concert attending outfits (and I even hopped in a few pics with her).  The thing is, Mel and I are both young professionals in a college town, so we like to dress more accordingly!  Even though we have LOTS of great options for the College-Age girls, I've also really focused a lot of energy on buying lots of Young Mom/Young Professional Age styles as well!  So if you don't have Friday night plans, come on by the Boutique & purchase your Granger Smith concert tickets ($10/each cash only) and let us get YOU all dressed up for a night out on the town!  We have something for EVERYONE! Be sure to read Mel's 1st #WatchaWearinWednesday blog HERE!  And feel free to show us what YOU are wearing every Wednesday by tagging both #SouthernJewlz and #WatchaWearinWednesday.  Together we can all give and receive LOTS of SJ Fashion Inspiration! Here are some of my favorite pics from our little venture over to Hurricane Harry's!  And be sure to stay tuned for next week's feature on how to get Game Day GLAM'ed Up for the Ole Miss Game! MEL HARRYS  We currently have this romper for sale in the boutique in both royal blue and a bright green.  Paired with Pink Panache Coin Jewlz! RANDA AND MEL HARRYSMel and I sure have come a long way from all the Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights spent at Harry's during our college careers at Texas A&M! RANDA HARRYS Studded Booties & Ladies Love Outlaws Top is available for purchase both in the Boutique & Online.  The shorts and cardigan vest are boutique only beauties! And my outfit of the day is a plaid button up tunic (sold out online but still available in store) paired with the American Spirit Boots & a Vintage Leather Cuff! photo-31 Until the next time, try something outside of your comfort zone!  For me, it was these boots that are really made for a super tall and thin super model - but hey, I gave it my all!  Confidence is HALF the battle!  xoxo Randa
